Mt. Ararat High School (MTA) is an accredited public high school by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) located in Topsham, Maine. MTA serves as the sole high school for Maine School Administrative District 75 (MSAD 75), which serves the towns of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham. These towns cover approximately 40 square miles of Midcoast Maine. The area is comprised of heterogeneous populations of academic, business, professional, working, farming, and fishing families with an approximate population of 20,000 residents.

MTA has an enrollment of approximately 750 students in grades 9 through 12. Our vision is for every student to explore and work toward fulfilling their unique potential. In order to achieve this vision, it is our mission to ensure challenging and personalized learning and teach essential skills to meet demands of our changing world. We provide a safe, nurturing and intellectually vibrant environment where diversity is valued and everyone is respected. We work in partnership with families and the community to promote the health and development of the whole individual.

In addition to a rigorous and robust academic offering, our school also offers dual enrollment opportunities, Advanced Placement courses and programming, and over 50 extracurricular activities.
