PALS (Peers Assisting and Listening to Students)

Advisor: Tricia Gordon


Purpose: Service club that participates in school and community activites.

Activities and pursuits: PALS participates in a variety of activities both at Mt. Ararat and in the greater school district community. All activities are decided upon by PALS and may vary from year to year. School activities include: Grade 9 Open House, Grade 9 Day, Step-Up Day, Open House, new student guides, Snow Ball (semi-formal dance). Community activities include: Making Strides, Daffodil Days, Relay for Life, and Read Across America Day.

Meeting times: PALS meets the second Tuesday of the month immediately after school. Meetings are usually less than 30 minutes. Extra meetings are scheduled before special events as needed.

Other information: PALS recruits new members in the spring.
