- The Learning Commons will be closed today all day to host a World Languages Guest Speaker from The Experiment:  a Summer Abroad Program that offers a scholarship to Mt. Ararat students.  The presentation will repeat and take place  Periods 1,2,3, and 4.  Students in World Language classes will be attending.  Students: Please bring a pass from your teacher, if you are not in already in a Red Day World Language class.  

--If any students are interested in taking a student fan bus down to Saturday's state championship football game at Fitzpatrick Stadium, you will need to sign up and get a permission slip from the front table on the stage during the lunch periods this week. You must have a completed and signed permission slip to ride the fan bus and if you ride the bus down to the game, you must ride the bus back from the game. See Mr. Godo with any questions.

-Winter sports practices start on Monday next week. Student-athletes that wish to participate in any winter sport must be registered before the take part in the first practice. No registration - no participation. For instructions on how to register, please contact the Main Office or speak with Mr. Godo.

-Do you love food? Do you enjoy cooking? If so find your favorite family recipe and submit one to Alt Ed’s 1st annual “chop it like its hot” cooking competition. Original recipes from students will be accepted only through today. From the entries, 5 contestants will be announced who will compete in a cook off for our judges. 1 winner will be rewarded with a prize. No dessert recipes please! See posters in the MTA hallways or more details. GOOD LUCK! 

-The Garden Club hasn't forgotten about the Fall Photo Contest. There will be a display set up on Friday this week outside the Learning Commons. Come down and see the great photos submitted by staff and students for the contest!!   Winners will be announced next week.


College Visits:
